Privacy.
it's a fart game. we keep almost nothing.
What we collect, and why
your nickname and X handle. only if you type them in when posting a score. they're shown publicly on the leaderboard, that's the whole point of them.
a hashed version of your connection info. we turn it into a one-way hash and store only that, so we can stop spam and cheating. we can't reverse it back into anything that identifies you.
your run data. the score and the inputs of a run, so the server can replay it and confirm you actually flew that far.
if you win the week: the address where we send your reward, and the link to your run video. used only to verify the run and send the reward.
Stuff that stays in your browser
sound on/off, your personal best score and your claim code are saved in your own browser (localStorage). they never leave your device unless you submit a score or a claim. clear your browser storage and they're gone.
What we don't do
no ads. no ad networks. no tracking pixels. no selling or sharing your data.
no accounts, no passwords, no email addresses, no newsletters.
no third party analytics like Google Analytics or Facebook, and no advertising cookies.
The two boring technical things
basic visit counting. our hosting platform runs a lightweight, privacy-friendly script from our own domain that counts page views. it doesn't build a profile of you and it doesn't follow you to other sites.
one security cookie. our network provider (Cloudflare) sets a short-lived cookie called __cf_bm to tell humans from bots. it expires in about 30 minutes and is not used for advertising.
we also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google. no cookies are set by us for that.
How long we keep it
leaderboard entries (nickname, handle, score, week) stay as part of the game's history. that's the scoreboard, it's meant to last.
winner info (address and video link) is kept only as long as needed to send the reward and to keep a simple record of past winners.
anti-spam hashes and rate limit records are short lived and rotate out.
